These songs were the songs of great sorrows and sufferings of the saints of God from all past generations to the present day. I also noticed that there were spots on the pages which were not yet filled up with a song. Here, the man who had opened the book, kind of waved his hand over the page to which the book was opened, and a song of sorrows was written and did appear on the page.
To understand the meanings of this dream, you will need to turn to the greatest book in my mind for help in the interpretation of dreams and that book is the Holy Scriptures known as your Holy Bible. (For most Christians, you should read it as much as you can if you want a good dream interpretation.) If you are not a Christian or do not have a Bible, you can find them pretty easily online or at your local library if you would just like to borrow one.
As we can see from this dream, there is a part that can be found in the Word of God. Tears of sorrow will be turned into joy like the dream implies. The book will be opened.
John 16: 20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.
With that said, what more can I say that would be better than what Jesus Himself has already said so perfectly about the book of sorrow. Jesus’ words should give us all faith and joy knowing what the things to come will look like in the heaven's. To know that God knows all of our pain and suffering of all sorts of this life and will turn them into a great book of joy unheard of, is even hard to comprehend.
Psalm 30:5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
Psalm 30:11Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;
Psalm 126:5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
Isaiah 61:3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.
Isaiah 51:11 Therefore the redeemed of the Lord shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head; they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.
Jeremiah 31:13 Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.
